Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Mechatronics Integration Engineer to deliver full-system integration across software and hardware for mining vehicle platforms. You will own the development process from initial setup through steady-state operations in both lab and field environments.

The role requires 2+ years in software integration, strong embedded knowledge (C, FreeRTOS), and excellent on-site customer-facing communication. Travel to customer sites, including international, is expected.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechatronics, Mechanical Eng, CS/Engineering or Electrical Eng.
• 2+ years in software integration or development.
• Experience with real-time embedded control applications (C, FreeRTOS).
• Strong customer-facing communication and on-site presence.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product development for autonomy and drive-by-wire systems, from setup to steady-state operations.
• Lead integrations from lab to field across software and hardware.
• Understand mining vehicle system architecture and software-hardware interactions.
• Design and evaluate sensors, actuators, and communication technologies in vehicle systems.
• Lead embedded application development and integration of electromechanical systems into mining platforms.
• Triage issues, collect logs/telemetry, reproduce problems, coordinate fixes with Hardware/Firmware teams.
• Partner with customer operations to establish operating procedures and go/no-go criteria.
