Job summary
ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Mechatronics Integrator to lead start-up and commissioning of automated cells, coordinating with engineers and project teams across sites. You will install mechanical, electrical, and software components, perform FAT and SAT, and support customer training while ensuring ENGEL quality standards.
Travel 30–45% per year and up to 4 weeks abroad; valid passport required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in EET/MET/EMET or equivalent control systems training.
- Minimum two years of robotics or automation experience.
- Experience with KUKA and FANUC robots; Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Beckhoff controls.
- Strong troubleshooting, HMI, and control system knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, troubleshoot, and commission automation hardware and software.
- Perform FAT and SAT tests with project teams.
- Install and start up automation cells at customer sites; rigging and handover.
- Provide system usage training to operators and technicians.
- Document work and ensure ENGEL quality standards are met.
