Job summary

ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Mechatronics Integrator to start up automation cells including robots, feeders, conveyors, and safety systems for customer projects.

You will assemble, install, troubleshoot and commission hardware and software, verify power and communications, perform FAT/SAT, and hand over to service teams, with travel up to 30-45% and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a relevant engineering/tech field.
• Experience with robotics/automation systems required (2+ years).
• Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Start up of automation cells with robots, feeders, conveyors, and guarding.
• Assemble, install, troubleshoot and commission automation hardware and software.
• Perform FAT/SAT and handover to local service technicians.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver on sales orders.
