Job summary

ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Mechatronics Integrator to start up automation cells with robots, feeders, conveyors, and safety systems. The role requires hands-on integration, FAT/SAT testing, and collaboration with engineers to deliver turnkey automation solutions.

Ideal candidates have at least two years' robotics experience, familiarity with KUKA/Fanuc, and knowledge of Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Beckhoff control systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related experience in robotics or automation.
• Experience with KUKA, Fanuc robots preferred.
• Knowledge of HMI, control system processors, and industrial networks.
• Ability to read electrical schematic and pneumatic diagrams.
• Willingness to travel 30–45% and to work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, troubleshoot, and commission automation hardware and software.
• Install mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components and verify connections.
• Perform FAT and SAT with project teams and document results.
• Handover to service technicians and provide user training.
