Job summary

ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Mechatronics Integrator to start up automation cells with various robotics and conveyors, and to validate safety and performance. You will install, commission, and test mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components, verify parameters, and hand over to the service team upon completion.

The role requires experience with robotics (KUKA/Fanuc) and control systems; travel to customer sites is expected, with international travel possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related experience in robotics or automation
• Preferred robot experience: KUKA, Fanuc
• Preferred control experience: Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, troubleshoot, and commission industrial automation hardware and software
• Perform FAT of automation cells and equipment
• Perform installation and start-up at customer site
• Provide system introduction to customer personnel
• Perform hardware and software retrofits to ENGEL automation systems
• Willingness to learn ENGEL proprietary equipment and controls
