CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is hiring a Mechatronic Apprentice. The program provides extensive paid training in maintenance technology, blending 9 weeks of classroom instruction with hands-on learning to prepare you for a role as a Maintenance or Controls Technician.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to attend a 12-week in-person paid training at a designated training provider.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to solve problems and follow standard instructions in routine maintenance and safety compliance.
• Physical ability to move up to 50 lbs and climb stairs or ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with Client and Operations teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
