Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is hiring Maintenance Technicians through the Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program. This paid training path combines 9 weeks of classroom instruction with on-the-job learning to prepare you for a career on a world-class logistics account.

You will work on electrical and mechanical issues across material handling equipment, install and repair automated packaging systems, document maintenance, and support a safety-first culture with CBRE's diverse,

Qualifications

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment.
• Operate and maintain automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Document preventative maintenance activities.
• Track and manage department inventory.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
