Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Mechatronic Apprentice to join a safety-first maintenance team supporting a major online retailer. This paid apprenticeship blends classroom instruction with hands-on on-the-job learning to build skills as a Maintenance or Controls Technician.

You’ll gain experience solving electrical and mechanical issues, installing and maintaining automated packaging equipment, and documenting maintenance activities while upholding CBRE's safety standards and

Qualifications

• Paid training through the Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program.
• On-the-job learning combined with classroom instruction.
• Prepares to join CBRE as a Maintenance or Controls Technician.

Responsibilities

• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
