Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechatronic Apprentice to join the Global Workplace Solutions team. Participants will gain extensive paid training in maintenance technology, combining classroom instruction with on-the-job learning to prepare for a career as a Maintenance or Controls Technician.

The program includes 9 weeks of classroom work plus on-the-job experience, with opportunities for advancement after six months of service and a chance to work with a world-class leader in logistics support.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate simple figures (percentages).
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
