Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) invites applications for a Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship. The program provides extensive paid training in the Maintenance Technical field, combining 9 weeks of classroom instruction with hands-on learning to prepare participants for a maintenance or controls technician role at CBRE.

Participants gain valuable skills while working within a safety-first culture and have opportunities for advancement after 6 months of successful service.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
