Job summary

Sterling St James LLC in New Hampshire is seeking an Administration Assistant with some electro-mechanical skills to back up the operations manager and lab technician. The position requires some soldering, schematic reading, and testing experience, and a U.S. citizenship due to ITAR work.

The candidate will handle account and order management, logistics, and RMA processes, while coordinating across departments to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of administrative experience with some electro-mechanical exposure.
• Experience with ERP/financial software is required; QuickBooks preferred.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers in a service or support role.
• ISO/ITAR/DOC/DOS compliance knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage quotes, sales orders, POs, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Oversee domestic shipping, packing, and logistics.
• Coordinate returns via RMA process and maintain returns log.
• Manage U.S. warehouse inventory and perform regular counts.
• Coordinate activities across manufacturing, service, sales and shipping.
• Provide backup support to Lab Technician when needed.
• Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks for business needs.
