Job summary

Aerotek in Wilsonville, Oregon, is hiring a Second Ops Technician to support secondary operations, perform tooling set-ups, troubleshoot production issues, and monitor product quality and process productivity.

The role includes installing injection molds, aiding maintenance, and collaborating with process engineering to resolve system failures, with emphasis on mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading, and hands-on tooling skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Experience in machine setup and operation.
• Knowledge of injection molding and automotive mechanics.
• Ability to read blueprints and use hand/power tools.
• Basic computer skills, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including replacing cutting tools, adjusting machine settings, and supporting automation.
• Perform equipment setups as directed.
• Support maintenance systems and perform activities as needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance and process engineering to troubleshoot and repair system failures.
• Collect and enter data to support procedures and engineering tests.
• Interact positively with employees.
• Train employees on using technical equipment such as automation, CNC, and other machines.
• Perform other duties as required.
