TPD® Workforce Solutions is hiring Machine Operators for a leading custom injection molding manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest. This role offers a consistent weekday swing shift with paid training and comprehensive benefits.

Operate injection molding machines, read production instructions, monitor equipment, inspect parts for quality, and complete packing. Starting wage is $21.00 per hour with overtime opportunities and a clean, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Dependable work ethic with good attendance.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machines to produce components.
• Read and follow production operating instructions.
• Monitor machines during production and report malfunctions.
• Inspect finished parts for quality compliance.
• Record rejects and communicate quality concerns.
• Complete secondary processing and packaging as needed.
• Keep workstation clean, safe, and organized.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Operate injection molding machines to produce quality molded components.
• Read and follow production operating instructions and verbal directions.
• Monitor machines throughout the production cycle and promptly report malfunctions.
• Inspect finished parts to confirm they meet established quality standards.
• Identify, record, and communicate rejected parts and quality concerns.
• Complete secondary processing such as trimming, sanding, cutting, assembling, boxing, and packaging.
• Maintain accurate production counts using manual methods or scales.
• Complete work orders, labels, lot numbers, and production records accurately.
• Keep tools, packaging materials, samples, and other necessary equipment stocked.
• Communicate important production information to supervisors, leads, and incoming operators.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation throughout your shift.
• Suggest practical improvements to production procedures and daily operations.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• The ability to read, understand, and verbally communicate work instructions.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• A dependable work ethic with strong punctuality and attendance.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a cooperative production team.
• A careful eye for product quality and the ability to recognize defects.
• Comfort manually cycling machinery by opening and closing the machine gate.
• The ability to frequently lift, reach, and pull up to 25 pounds.
• The ability to stand for at least eight hours during your shift.
• Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment that may occasionally reach temperatures of up to 100°F.
• Availability to work occasional weekend overtime when required.
