Job summary

OptiMIM, a Form Technologies Company in Wilsonville, Oregon, is seeking a dayshift Technician in our Secondary Operations department to support the injection molding process. You will set up tooling, prepare machines, and troubleshoot production equipment, with data collection and training responsibilities on automation and CNC systems.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic computer/PLC knowledge, and clear English communication.

Qualifications

Basic to moderate knowledge of computer and PLCs.
High level of mechanical aptitude.
Good communication skills with the ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and repairing equipment and supporting automation and tooling as needed.
Performing equipment setups as directed.
Supporting maintenance systems and performing activities as needed.
Working with maintenance and process engineering to troubleshoot and repair system failures.
Collecting and entering data to support procedures and engineering tests.
Assisting and training employees on using technical equipment (Automation, CNC and other machines).
Other duties as required.
