Job summary

Aerotek, an established staffing and services provider, seeks a Second Ops Technician to support secondary operations in an injection metal molding environment. The role focuses on tooling setups, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring quality parts while maintaining a safe, productive floor with steady shifts.

Training and data entry are involved. The position emphasizes mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with automation and CNC equipment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in machine setup and operation.
• Knowledge of injection molding and automotive mechanics.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate hand and power tools.
• Basic to moderate computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including replacing cutting tools, adjusting machine settings, and supporting automation.
• Perform equipment setups as directed.
• Support maintenance systems and perform activities as needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance and process engineering to troubleshoot and repair system failures.
• Collect and enter data to support procedures and engineering tests.
• Interact positively with employees.
• Train employees on using technical equipment such as automation, CNC, and other machines.
• Perform other duties as required.
