Job summary

BAE Systems in Nashua, NH is seeking a Production Assembler to work on electronics and mechanical assemblies for aerospace and defense. You will perform a range of assembly tasks, support engineers, and fabricate components according to process sheets and drawings.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of experience, the ability to lift 20–40 lbs, and strong documentation and communication skills. Lean manufacturing and soldering are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Assists mechanical engineers in development, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components.
• Fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.
• Analyses data and recommends modifications to components or test procedures.
• Works from process sheets, diagrams and drawings, using hand and power tools and jigs.

• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Performs a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components.
• Fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.
• Assists with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications.
• Works from process sheets, diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools and jigs.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $64723 - $103557Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
