Job summary

D.O.M. magazine is partnering with BAE Systems to fill an on-site, full-time production role at a Nashua facility.

The position starts on the first shift with a 4/10 schedule (Monday–Thursday) to support aerospace electronics assembly and related tasks. Responsibilities include varied production assembly, surface preparation, finishing material handling, and assisting mechanical engineers with designs and tests.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years work experience
  • Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs
  • Experience communicating effectively both written and verbally
  • Must be able to follow processes and written instructions

Responsibilities

  • Perform production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
  • Prepare surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products (cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking, stenciling)
  • Select and mix finishing materials
  • Assist mechanical engineers in development, testing, fabrications, modifications, and assemblies
  • Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies
  • Assist with data analysis and recommend modifications to components or test procedures
  • Work from process sheets, diagrams, and drawings; create initial layouts; use hand and power tools and jigs

Job Description Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
