Job summary

Wilsonart International is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical maintenance and oversee equipment operations at our Fletcher facility. You will work under supervision to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment installs on site.

The role requires reading blueprints, safe handling of materials, and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures. We offer growth opportunities, training, and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of mechanical industrial maintenance experience or 1 year of maintenance education.
• Heavy work; up to 100 pounds.
• Able to work a minimum twelve hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs on equipment breakdowns as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Modify new and existing equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Install new equipment in plant as required.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean work environment and attend safety meetings.
• Assist maintenance personnel in other areas as needed.
