Wilsonart seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical and preventive maintenance on plant equipment under supervision. You will help install and modify machinery to meet production needs and ensure reliable operation.
Responsibilities include welding, fabricating parts, following safety procedures, and maintaining clear records. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of mechanical maintenance experience or 1 year of related education.

Perform all mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance and monitor the operations of equipment in the facility under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Crew Foreman. Perform other tasks as required.
Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 6 months of mechanical industrial maintenance work experience or 1 year of Maintenance education required.
Heavy work. Tasks involves pushing / pulling, lifting, and handling material up to 100 pounds plus standing and walking during a minimum twelve hour shift.
Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises and bright lights. Examples: mail clerks, material handlers and food service workers
