Wilsonart International is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical maintenance and oversee equipment operations at our Fletcher facility. You will work under supervision to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment installs on site.

Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Perform all mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance and monitor the operations of equipment in the facility under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Crew Foreman. Perform other tasks as required.
ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
6 months of mechanical industrial maintenance work experience or 1 year of Maintenance education required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Heavy work. Tasks involves pushing / pulling, lifting, and handling material up to 100 pounds plus standing and walking during a minimum twelve hour shift.

Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises and bright lights. Examples: mail clerks, material handlers and food service workers
