The candidate will inspect, repair, and document system performance daily, work with contractors, and respond to critical needs while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience with strong knowledge of HVAC control systems.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and work at heights.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and resolve building issues promptly.
• Excellent communication with tenants and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Resourceful team player with collaborative problem-solving approach.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect daily building mechanical and electrical systems and perform maintenance/repairs (lighting, chilled/heating water systems, rooftop equipment, compressors, boilers, HVAC controls, fire alarm/sprinkler systems).
• Monitor contractors to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Record readings and maintain documentation of system performance.
• Maintain preventative maintenance for life safety equipment and ensure safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize tenant disruption.
• Maintain positive tenant relations through professional communication.
• Work with hand tools and at heights to complete tasks.
• Multitask effectively while ensuring quality and attention to detail.
