Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechanical Technician to oversee preventative maintenance of building systems at a Hillsboro, OR site. The role requires hands-on work with HVAC controls, electrical gear, and life-safety equipment, with evening/weekend shifts as needed.

You will inspect, repair, and document system performance, coordinate with contractors, and ensure tenant relations stay positive through timely service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• HVAC control systems knowledge and experience.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and at heights.
• Strong communication with tenants and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of building mechanical and electrical systems and perform maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor contractors, ensuring timely and quality work.
• Record readings and document system performance accurately.
