Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Kansas to support the operation and maintenance of natural gas pipelines and facilities in Meade and surrounding areas. You will troubleshoot and service gas-fired reciprocating engines, compressors, and related equipment, with a focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency.

The role requires a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and willingness to travel for temporary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Relevant oil/gas industry experience preferred.
Understanding of 4-cycle combustion engine operation essential.
3 years of mechanical experience with internal combustion engines preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, operate and maintain gas-fired reciprocating engines and gas compressors.
Operate standby generators, pumps, boilers, air compressors and related equipment.
Inspect, repair and set regulators and relief valves; perform line locates and ROW maintenance.
Plan and perform mechanical maintenance activities, preventive and major projects.
Enter work orders and data into SAP; generate and manage maintenance documentation.
