  • Maintain and troubleshoot compressors, turbines, engines, valves, and other rotating equipment.
  • Respond to equipment outages, alarms, and units taken offline.
  • Investigate mechanical issues, reset equipment when appropriate, and determine the appropriate next steps to restore reliable operation.
  • Maintain compressors and associated systems that provide air to operating equipment.
  • Support maintenance activities involving natural gas valves, turbines, engines, and auxiliary station equipment.
  • Work with subcontractors performing maintenance and repair activities at the facility.
  • Coordinate with planners and schedulers to execute maintenance activities according to established schedules and work plans.
  • Complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and required records accurately and on time.
  • Support maintenance planning and coordinate timelines for upcoming work.
  • Assist with smaller in-house maintenance and improvement projects during periods of lower scheduled activity.
  • Occasionally provide mechanical maintenance support at other company locations within approximately 50-75 miles of the primary reporting location.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation of approximately one week per month.
  • Respond to equipment issues and alarms that may occur during normal business hours, overnight, or on weekends.
  • Perform on-call and emergency response work safely and efficiently; applicable on-call work is compensated at overtime rates.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, equipment reliability, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with natural gas compression equipment.
  • Experience with Caterpillar compressors, Morse 100 engines, or T60 turbines is highly desirable.
  • Experience troubleshooting engines, compressors, turbines, valves, and related auxiliary equipment.
  • Previous experience working in a safety-critical industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to take ownership of maintenance issues and follow them through to resolution.
  • Primary work location is Stony Point, NY.
  • The role is primarily field-based, with a combination of field maintenance and office/planning activities.
  • The team supports approximately 100 acres of assets and 50 miles of pipeline in addition to the primary compressor station.
  • Occasional travel to other company facilities within approximately 50-75 miles may be required.
