The Role

As a Mechanical Technician, you’ll provide support to EDF to enhance the lifetime of the power station and represent Cavendish Nuclear. Your daily tasks will include technical fault finding, maintenance, and overhaul activities. You will be part of the Cavendish Nuclear site team at Heysham B Power Station, reporting to the Site Manager, while being embedded within the client (EDF) organization, reporting day-to-day to the client.

• Mechanical maintenance delivery as per EDF requirements.
• Compliance with site standards and expectations.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based on-site at Heysham B Power Station, Morecambe.

Essential Experience

• Technical fault finding.
• Procedure/task instruction compliance.
• Safe systems of work.
• Compliance within regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline is preferred, but experience in a similar field will also be considered.
