Position: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

The Electro-Mechanic Technician performs project management, maintenance, and repairs of pneumatic machines and line equipment.

What you'll do:
  • Calibrate microprocessor-based control equipment.
  • Repair and install instrumentation and electrical control systems.
  • Read relay logic for troubleshooting and repair.
  • Perform tests and calibrations using equipment such as CRT terminals, data recorders, multimeters, megger, and amprobe.
  • Diagnose problems under pressure.
  • Troubleshoot and modify PLC programming.
  • Understand power distribution and wiring practices.
  • Install panel boxes, remote control equipment, motors, and circuits.
  • Work independently on electrical tasks, adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain broad mechanical knowledge.
  • Install, modify, troubleshoot, and repair complex manufacturing equipment, focusing on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, and PLCs.
  • Perform preventive and proactive maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic control systems, Allen Bradley PLC systems, RSLinx, process control instrumentation, and high-voltage circuits.
  • Coordinate with team members, production, engineering, and management to plan maintenance.
  • Support production goals, including training and coaching.
  • Coordinate with vendors for technical support.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized workspace.
  • Comply with all safety and company policies.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Total Rewards:
  • Starting pay at $40.63/hour, increasing to $41.65/hour after six months.

Requirements:

Ideal Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a large production facility.
  • 2 years of troubleshooting and programming PLCs.
  • 2 years of mechanical systems knowledge.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.
