Job description

Title: Lead Electro-Mechanical Technician

Location: Atchison, KS

Hire Type: Direct Hire

Hourly Rate: $32-36/hr

Job Summary: Responsible for performing maintenance, repair, installation, and replacement of electrical and mechanical equipment in the manufacturing plant.

Job Duties:

  1. Perform maintenance and repair on facility mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment
  2. Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance on pumps, presses, valves, fans, and safety machine guards
  3. Source replacement parts, materials, tools, and spare parts as needed
  4. Monitor and maintain CNC and related machine shop equipment
  5. Assist in building components for major plant projects/maintenance
  6. Operate and maintain forklifts and overhead cranes as needed
  7. Maintain spare parts inventory
  8. Troubleshoot and maintain engines, conveyors, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. 3-5 years of industrial electro-mechanical experience
  3. Strong mechanical skills
  4. Electrical experience up to 480-volt 3-phase
  5. HVAC experience is a plus
  6. Experience with PLCs is desired
  7. Machining experience is helpful
