Responsibilities

• Assist the Mechanical Business Class Lead with management and culture of the team of mechanical engineers, EITs and designers.
• Staffing and project proposals in collaboration with other Mechanical Team Leads.
• Provide team leadership with focus on technical excellence, recruiting, mentoring and staff development.
• Collaborate with mechanical market sector leadership to ensure excellence across markets.
• Function as design lead or engineering project manager for key projects.
• Implement and monitor company policy.
• Work with other team leads and managers on business class efforts.
• Engage in work-sharing and practice development with HDR's national network.
• Assist in recruitment and growth of the business class.
• Perform other duties as needed.
