Job summary

AA Duckett, part of the Elliott-Lewis family, is seeking an Account Coordinator for its Mechanical Services office team in New Jersey. The role focuses on managing customer needs, coordinating with field technicians, and reporting to the Director of Operations.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position in the office five days a week. The ideal candidate enjoys problem solving, clear communication, and building long-term relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of client services experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented with ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) including reporting.
• Training provided on Microsoft Great Plains and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and continually update customers on status of accounts.
• Support clients and field technicians by quoting follow up work to aid in operations of equipment repairs.
• Procure materials for technicians.
• Communicate with service coordinators regarding daily account activity.
• Maintains customer database updating daily status of workflow.
• Run weekly status reports to report service goal metrics.
• Prioritize tasks to meet customer needs.
