Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our San Francisco office.

You will lead HVAC design for research, healthcare and higher education facilities, advancing energy-efficient building solutions and sustainable environments. You will manage the design process, mentor team members, and collaborate with clients and project partners to deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• BSME/BAE (or related discipline) with applicable experience.
• 15+ years of HVAC design experience for research, healthcare or higher education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration required.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners.
• Lead the overall design process on assigned projects within the discipline.

As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer in our San Francisco office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners and is responsible for the overall design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. Within your role, you will also develop innovative and unique design solutions to align with project, client and project partner needs and leads the team in implementing solutions.

Expertise of our most successful Senior Mechanical Project Engineer:

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
• 15+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration required.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
