Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in Boston is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design energy-efficient HVAC building systems for technically sophisticated facilities. You will develop system designs from concept plans, guiding projects from basis of design through field verification with input from users and partners.

In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria and interprets and utilizes information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.

Expertise of our most successful Mechanical Engineer II:
  • BSAE or BSME required.
  • 3+ years’ experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
  • PE License or ability to become licensed.
