Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in Madison seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead HVAC design for energy-efficient building projects across research, healthcare, and higher education sectors. You will guide design teams and deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and project goals.

You will apply Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks in a collaborative environment, contribute to our growth, and mentor junior engineers while advancing sustainable infrastructure for a greener future.

Qualifications

  • BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
  • 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
  • Professional engineering registration preferred.
  • Proficiency in engineering design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks).

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will be responsible for engineering design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline.
  • You will develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client and project partner’s needs, and leads the discipline team in implementing the solutions.

Expertise Of Our Most Successful Mechanical Project Engineer
  • BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
  • 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
  • Professional engineering registration preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
