Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in San Diego seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to design energy-efficient HVAC systems for research, healthcare, and higher education facilities.

You will lead the discipline team on assigned projects, developing innovative solutions that meet client needs and project requirements. With a background in BSME/BSAE and 10+ years of experience, you will collaborate across teams, use Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, and contribute to a culture of engineering

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE or related engineering degree with applicable experience.
• 10+ years designing HVAC building systems for research, healthcare or higher education.
• PE registration preferred.
• Proficiency with design software (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks).

As a Mechanical Project Engineer in our San Diego office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

In this role, you will be responsible for engineering design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. You will develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client and project's needs, and leads the discipline team in implementing the solutions.

Expertise Of Our Most Successful Mechanical Project Engineer

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).


• 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.


• Professional engineering registration preferred.


• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $105,000 to $165,000
