Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer for our Nashville office to design energy-efficient HVAC systems for research, healthcare and higher education facilities, and to lead the design process on assigned projects.

You will build relationships with clients and project partners, develop innovative solutions, manage teams, and contribute to a collaborative environment with a strong focus on outcomes. PE registration is required.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE or related engineering discipline with applicable experience.
• Professional engineering registration required.

As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer in our Nashville office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners and is responsible for the overall design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. Within your role, you will also develop innovative and unique design solutions to align with project, client and project partner needs and leads the team in implementing solutions.

Expertise of our most successful Senior Mechanical Project Engineer:

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).


• 15+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.


• Professional engineering registration required.


• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
