Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Repair Technician II for onsite 1st shift (6:00AM–2:30PM). You will service customer returned products, disassemble, clean, repair, and test components, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. SAP navigation and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a HS diploma with 1+ year of related experience, strong mechanical ability, and welding experience preferred. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret schematics/technical drawings.
• Familiarity with SAP and basic computer skills.
• Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair products per maintenance manuals to meet regulations.
• Disassemble, clean, repair and test fire-extinguisher products.
• Use a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Navigate SAP with minimal assistance.
• Comply with EH&S, ethics, IT and HR policies.
• Perform repairs from intake to packaging for return.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area.
