Collins Aerospace's Santa Fe Springs site is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Repair Technician. You will be responsible for performing complete operation checkouts, modifications and repair corrections of problems, including critical components that enable safe flight for travelers worldwide.

The role is onsite in Santa Fe Springs, CA with hours 5:30am–2pm, plus overtime. A HS diploma or equivalent and basic experience with hand tools and measuring devices are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or vocational/technical training.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and test equipment.
• Willingness to work onsite in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite at Santa Fe Springs, CA location.
• Hours: Mon-Fri 5:30am-2pm with overtime.
• Inspect incoming assemblies and components per procedures.
• Set up repair and test facilities.
• Test and calibrate parts to meet specs.
• Repair units failing tests.
• Assemble fabricated parts at station.
• Use hand and power tools for assembly.
• Ensure short cycle time repairs with quality processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
