Collins Aerospace is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III for the 1st shift, onsite in Manchester, IA. You will perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and related systems, troubleshoot issues, and document activities according to SOPs.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience, knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics/electronics, and adherence to safety standards. U.S. citizenship is required for access to certain systems.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven maintenance technician experience or similar role.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures.
• Trouble shoots and repairs electronic and mechanical problems on equipment.
• Maintains and repairs facility mechanical components and electrical systems.
• Performs machine repair and preventative maintenance per PM programs.
• Documents repair work and PM activities.
• Complies with safety SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• May assist with facility upgrades and equipment installations.
