Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Miramar, FL is seeking a Repair Technician responsible for maintenance, repair and overhaul of aviation components in accordance with FAA and company requirements.

The role requires collaboration with supervision, engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve repair issues, use SAP for daily tasks, and ensure safety, quality and compliance on the 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm) with training on the 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak and understand English proficiently.
• Experience with FAA/Part 145 MRO environments preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical/mechanical repair processes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Participate in continuous improvement, safety, and environmental initiatives.
• Enter and retrieve data from SAP for daily activities.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and assemblies.
• Verify clearances, tolerances, and alignments to specifications.
• Identify parts and document acceptance/rejection criteria in maintenance data.
• Collaborate with supervision, engineering and cross-functional teams.
