Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a maintenance technician for the Miramar, FL facility. This onsite role supports safety-sensitive FAA operations on a 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm) with potential first-shift training for ~90 days. You will perform inspection, repair, and assembly of electronic components, following detailed instructions and using SAP for daily tasks.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, plus 1 year of relevant experience. Preferred are 2+ years in aerospace/MRO and an A&P license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required; vocational/technical training is a plus.
• Experience reading CMM instructions, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Ability to read/understand English per FAR requirements.
• Prefer 2+ years in aerospace or MRO environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in company continuous improvement and EH&S activities.
• Understand and deliver on department performance goals with supervisors.
• Enter and retrieve information from SAP to perform daily activities.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a neat, orderly area.
• Interface with customers (government personnel or auditors) as needed.
• Inspect and disposition components and modules; rework/repair as required.
