Job summary

Golden State Foods in Opelika, AL is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the PM pillar and drive operator reliability. You will plan, coordinate, and coach across maintenance and operations to maximize equipment uptime and cost efficiency.

You’ll own MP&S and BDE, develop reliability metrics, improve PM quality, and mentor mechanics and operators to sustain improvements. This role requires an engineering degree or equivalent experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred or significant relevant experience.
• Experience leading TPM/IWS environments is a plus.
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own the maintenance plans for relevant zones and ensure PMs, PM execution, PM tracking and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain reliability metrics and dashboards (MTBF, MTTR, OEE).
• Lead two Daily Management Systems: Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S) and Breakdown Elimination (BDE).
• Coach and develop Operators on Operator Driven Reliability/Autonomous Maintenance (ODR/AM).
• Ensure safety, quality, and food safety issues are resolved quickly.
• Participate in Operational Reviews (shiftly, daily, weekly, monthly).
