Job summary

Planate Management Group seeks a Mechanical Engineer to oversee critical quality assurance for the Nairobi CAA Project. Responsibilities include technical inspections, monitoring contractor quality control, and ensuring execution aligns with approved designs. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least seven years of construction experience, and familiarity with Building Automation Systems. This position is contingent upon contract award and requires the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant construction experience.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings in discipline.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and their interrelation.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering quality assurance for the Nairobi CAA project.
• Inspect mechanical work and ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Conduct site inspections to verify construction execution.

Skills

Excellent writing skills

Understanding of Building Automation Systems

Knowledge of Construction Safety regulations

Ability to read design/construction drawings

Knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
