Planate Management Group is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to support the Nairobi CAA Project. Responsibilities include inspecting civil and structural works, reviewing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with U.S. standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 7 years of construction experience, and preferably hold a Professional Engineer License. This position offers a range of benefits including medical insurance and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of construction experience.
• Professional Engineer License preferred.
• Must have overseas work experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect civil and structural works including site development and structural systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and contractor submittals.
• Monitor construction progress ensuring alignment with schedule.

Skills

Knowledge of civil/structural systems and practices

Experience in QA/QC and field inspections

Knowledge of Construction Safety regulations

Knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
