Planate Management Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the Nairobi CAA Project, which involves constructing a new building alongside the existing chancery. The Engineer will be responsible for engineering quality assurance, inspecting mechanical work, and ensuring compliance with design documents. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least seven years of relevant construction experience. The role requires strong writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, along with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant construction experience.
• Able to read design/construction drawings and understand narratives and calculations.
• Must understand and interpret drawings in his/her discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering quality assurance and technical oversight for the Nairobi CAA project.
• Inspect mechanical work and monitor contractor quality control.
• Ensure construction is executed in accordance with approved design documents.
