Job summary

Planate Management Group (PMG) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide quality assurance and technical oversight for the Nairobi CAA Project. The role includes inspecting mechanical work and monitoring contractor quality control to ensure compliance with contract documents. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a High School Diploma, with a minimum of seven years of construction experience. Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant construction experience.
• Able to interpret drawings in engineering discipline.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering quality assurance and technical oversight for Nairobi CAA project.
• Inspect mechanical work and ensure contract compliance.
• Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation.

Skills

Excellent writing skills

Understanding of design/construction drawings

Knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Experience with Building Automation Systems

Knowledge of Construction Safety regulations

Education
