Overview:

A leading U.S. mechanical contractor—ranked 6th nationwide by Engineering News-Record in 2024—is seeking a Project Manager to support a multi-billion-dollar data center project for a major tech client in Fredericksburg, VA.

While prior data center experience is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate has experience working for a mechanical contractor and a proven track record managing large-scale commercial or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through close-out
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and site operations
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards

Qualifications:

• Experience working for a mechanical contractor is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work primarily on-site in Fredericksburg, with flexibility for some remote or office-based days
• Base Salary: Up to $130,000 (commensurate with experience)
• 401(k): 4% company match
