Position: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Remote role based from home, with travel (local or regional). Preferred residence in greater Poughkeepsie, New Rochelle, White Plains NY, or Danbury CT areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate failures and systems in commercial, residential, or industrial mechanical contexts.
• Conduct field investigations, failure analysis, and document findings.
• Test evidence in labs, research failure modes, and collaborate with experts for detailed reporting.
• Serve as an expert witness in legal settings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license, with multi-state licensing preferred.
• Experience in expert witness testimony is advantageous.
