The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Technical Engineer, you will work with innovative and diverse teams worldwide. Your impact includes:

• Learning the use, operation, and functionality of assigned Solventum products to enable consultations, including technology requirements, installations, diagnostics, conversions, and upgrades.
• Continuously improving your technical skills related to Solventum products and new technologies.
• Collaborating with Development and other departments to provide viable solutions and resolve problems.
• Communicating with Project Managers and Operations Managers regarding engagement status, troubleshooting, etc., with clear problem definitions and recommendations.
• Maintaining professional customer relations, teamwork, communication, self-motivation, and independence in a fast-paced environment.
• Participating in corporate programs, adhering to policies and standards, and acting in line with Solventum's values and ethics.
• Leading and managing technical projects.

Your Skills and Expertise

To succeed, candidates should have:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher with 7+ years in technical support, network administration, or engineering in various environments.
• OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 11 years in similar roles.
• At least 3 years working with network operating systems, including Windows Server 2016 or SQL 2016 or higher.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

• Microsoft MCSE or MCITP certifications.
• Experience with VMWare, Nutanix, Citrix, SQL Server, Windows Servers, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Powershell, Python, VPNs, serving as a technical resource.
• Understanding of Health Information Systems is a plus.
• Availability for some nights and weekends.
• Project management experience is advantageous.

Location: Remote-US

Travel: Up to 15% (domestic/international)

Compensation & Benefits
