Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager in our Phoenix office to lead major energy-efficient building projects. You will manage client relationships, guide a team of engineers, and ensure projects meet client needs, timelines, and budgets.

Our work spans healthcare, laboratories, energy, and higher education facilities across multiple sectors. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Architectural Engineering, PE registration, and 10+ years in

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Professional engineering registration.
• 10+ years in a consulting environment designing building systems or leading design projects across MEP disciplines.
• Experience managing large and complex projects for healthcare, laboratory, infrastructure, higher education, industrial, or R&D facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead major projects and develop client relationships to meet needs and budget.
• Deliver projects from concept through occupancy, guiding engineers and teams.
• Participate in project interviews and provide high-level client service.
• Establish long-term partnerships and keep abreast of market trends.
• Resolve technical and service issues effectively across projects.

As a Mechanical Project Manager in our Phoenix office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

The Project Manager will lead major projects, develop client relationships, deliver projects according to client needs and budget, lead concept development of building systems, and guide a team of engineers from project conception though occupancy. This position also includes participating in project interviews, providing high-level client service, establishing long-term partnerships, keeping abreast of market trends, and ensuring resolution of all technical and service issues.

Expertise Of Our Most Successful Mechanical Project Manager

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Professional engineering registration.
• 10+ years in consulting environment designing building systems or leading design projects across MEP disciplines.
• Successful management of large and complex projects for sophisticated clients healthcare, laboratory, infrastructure, higher education, industrial, or R&D facilities.
• Demonstrated leadership on projects and with staff.
• Long history of very satisfied clients.
