Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Chicago seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to help empower clients with energy-efficient building solutions. You will design HVAC systems for research, healthcare, and higher education facilities and lead the discipline team to implement innovative, value-driven solutions.

Required: a BS in engineering, 10+ years of HVAC design experience, PE preferred. Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE degree or other engineering discipline with applicable experience.
• 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, healthcare or higher education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

In this role, you will be responsible for engineering design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. You will develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client and project partner's needs, and leads the discipline team in implementing the solutions.

Expertise Of Our Most Successful Mechanical Project Engineer

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
• 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
