Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Los Angeles seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to help clients achieve energy-efficient building solutions and sustainable HVAC designs.

The role leads the HVAC discipline on projects, requiring 10+ years of experience in healthcare, research or higher education facilities and proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE or equivalent with applicable experience.
• 10+ years in HVAC building systems for research, healthcare or higher education facilities.
• PE registration preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks.

As a Mechanical Project Engineer in our Los Angeles office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Here’s Why We Need You

In this role, you will be responsible for engineering design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. You will develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client and project partner’s needs, and leads the discipline team in implementing the solutions.

Expertise Of Our Most Successful Mechanical Project Engineer

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
• 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
